Fifteen Years Ago Today

I remember exactly where I was when I heard that President Kennedy had been shot. Same thing with the Apollo moon landing, the resignation of Nixon, the Challenger disaster, and the Oklahoma City bombing.  My parents' generation would always remember where they were when they heard about the attack on Pearl Harbor (my dad, especially - he was there when it happened).

I was on my way to teach the first day of a seminar at the Wyndham BelAge in Hollywood. As events progressed, I gave the class the option of rescheduling and going home, or powering through. Every one of them opted to stay, but let me tell you, it was EXTREMELY difficult to concentrate on the topic at hand.

September 11, 2001 was a game changer.  It changed who and what we were into who and what we are. We all remember when we heard the news reports and saw the footage.
