The Starship Avalon, transporting 5,259 people during its 120-year voyage to a distant colony planet has a malfunction in two of its sleep chambers. As a result, two hibernation pods open 90-years prematurely and the two people that wake up just happen to be Jennifer Lawrence and Crisp Rat (well, if you want to be technical, it’s Chris Pratt, but I think Crisp Rat is funnier).
Passengers opens in the US and Canada on December 21, 2016.
