After his sermon one Sunday morning, a pastor was approached by an elderly woman who said, "Preacher, I know it's probably a sin, but I just love my cigarettes. Is there anything in that there Bible that actually SAYS it's wrong?"
The minister said he'd do some research. The next Sunday he saw the woman again and called her over. "Not only does it not prohibit it," he began, "the Bible actually has an account of the first woman to smoke a cigarette!"
When the woman asked to see it, he opened up his Bible and pointed out Genesis 24:64 (KJV) -
"And Rebekah lifted up her eyes, and when
she saw Isaac, she lighted off the camel."
