Today
would’ve been my parents’ 72nd wedding anniversary.
And
you could tell they didn’t just love each other – they were IN love that whole
time.
It
was so cool watching them holding hands, snuggling, and trading kisses back and
forth. It proved to me that marriage and a lifelong commitment CAN work, as
long as you’ve got the right person, and both parties are willing to work hard.
We
lost Dad in January of 1997, and Mom in November of 2011, so they’re back
together again.
I
miss both of you every day, but I know the both of you are back to holding
hands, snuggling and kissing.
