The Hubble Space Telescope recently snapped this view of a colorful assortment of 100,000 stars residing in the core of the giant star cluster. The image reveals a small region inside the massive globular cluster Omega Centauri, which boasts nearly 10 million stars. The stars in the core of Omega Centauri are so crowded that they are estimated to average only 0.1 light years away from each other.
