God's Three Mistakes

The Good Lord, in His infinite wisdom, created everything we see, everything we know, and everything we DON'T know. The incredible beauty and complexity of the Universe and (almost) everything in it is both exhilarating and humbling. Holding a baby, hugging a loved one, watching a sunset - all give evidence that God really knew what He was doing.

Except... for God's Three Mistakes. I've referenced these in conversations with friends and colleagues throughout the years, and usually get a blank stare or some sort of inquiry as to What The Hell Are You Talking About?

So, to clear up any and all and future misunderstandings, here is the Definitive List of God's Three Mistakes (in order):

1) Mustard 
   (I had an unfortunate experience with mustard when I was a child)

2) Pickles 
   (Ga-a-ack. Aunt Bee be damned!)

Pickles are nothing more than cucumbers dipped in pure evil

and 3) Anything Else I Don't Like
