If the Earth is the size of a pea in New York, then the Sun is a beach ball 54 yards (50m) away, Pluto is 2.5 miles (4km) away, and the nearest star, Proxima Centauri, is in Tokyo.

Now, if you were to shrink Pluto's orbit into a coffee cup; then our Milky Way Galaxy would fill North America.
