The annual Scuba Show was going on this weekend at the Long Beach Convention Center. It's sort of like a Consumer Electronics Show for scuba enthusiasts, and I look forward to it every year.
This year, I had three people in town for the weekend. Carole, from Oregon, and Jodi and her daughter Mira from the Bay Area. (We WERE going to go diving at Catalina on Saturday and do SS today, but the weather just is not cooperating).
Seeing old friends and making new ones was a blast, but one of my favorite moments was when Mira convinced me to pose with her at the Dive Into The Pink booth (to help in the fight against Breast Cancer)
