One day, in the skies above the Atlantic...

A Boeing 777 is on its way across the Atlantic. It flies consistently at 565 mph at 35,000 feet, when suddenly a USAF fighter jet appears. The pilot of the fighter slows down, flies alongside the Boeing and greets the pilot of the passenger plane over the radio.

“Boeing aircraft” he begins, “Sort of a boring flight, isn’t it? Watch this!”

At that point the fighter rolls on its back, accelerates and breaks through the sound barrier, rises rapidly to height, only to swoop down almost to sea level. He loops back up to the Boeing and asks, “Whad’ja think of that?”

The Boeing pilot answers, “Very impressive. But have a look at what WE can do!”

The fighter pilot watches the passenger plane, but nothing happens. It continues to fly straight and level and at the same speed.

After about 5 minutes. The Boeing pilot radioed, “Well, whad’ja think of THAT??”

The fighter pilot asks, confused, “What did you do?”

The other pilot laughs and says, “I got up, stretched my legs, went out into the cabin and into the bathroom to take a leak, then got a cup of fresh coffee and a cinnamon roll.”
