So I'm talking with my girlfriend about how I make my salads (pretty easy - lettuce, tomatoes, green onions, and bell peppers), and she makes the suggestion that I try adding either crushed cashew bits or slivered almonds. I do, and it's delicious.
The following day I'm talking with her on the phone, and I related how good the salad was the night before. Then I said,
"Thanks for the tip on the nuts!"
I'm STILL living that one down.
