The Amazing Jonathan
I first saw this guy the very first time I went to a comedy club (in San Francisco in the late '80's). The first few acts were moderately amusing, but I was already pretty jaded back then, and I was thinking that none of these hacks could *really* make me laugh.
Then The Amazing Jonathan came onstage.
His set was so irreverent, so hysterical, that it was one of those times you're get to laughing so hard that you sort of wish they'd pause for a minute so you can catch your breath.
