On September 2, 2019, the liveaboard dive vessel Conception was engulfed in flames while anchored in California’s Channel Islands. Of the 39 passengers and crew on board, 34 lost their lives. This tragedy will be felt throughout the dive community.
In an effort to help the families of the victims, DAN has donated $10,000 and established this page so that others who wish to donate to the families can do so knowing that 100% of their donations will go directly to the families in need.
All donations are tax-deductible. The funds collected will be distributed equally among the families of the victims. Families who lost more than one member will receive a share for each.
