In a speech to Parliament on Tuesday honoring the victims of the mosque shootings, Ardern said the alleged killer wanted notoriety but she will deny him that, and hoped others would do the same.
"He is a terrorist. He is a criminal. He is an extremist. But he will, when I speak, be nameless," Ardern said.Wouldn't it be great if this caught on?
"And to others I implore you: speak the names of those who were lost, rather than name of the man who took them. He may have sought notoriety, but we in New Zealand will give him nothing, not even his name."
