When Star Trek: Voyager was first conceived 1n 1994, the Powers-That-Be decided that the iconic role of Captain Kathryn Janeway would go to French-Canadian actress Geneviève Bujold. After two days of filming and numerous disagreements with the director on how the scenes should be filmed, Bujold was replaced by Kate Mulgrew. Some of Bujold's scenes can be seen here.
